(Jer. 4:22-27)
E Nọyaẹnmwa khare wẹẹ, “Akpa ọre avbe emwa mwẹ khin, iran ma rẹn mwẹ. Iran ye vbe emọ ni kọẹn, iran i mwẹ irẹnmwi hiehie. Iguẹsẹ ẹre iran khin vbe emwi dan ne a ru, emwi esi ne a ru i dunna ne iran.”
“For my people are foolish; They take no note of me. They are stupid sons, with no understanding. They are clever* enough when it comes to doing bad, But they do not know how to do good.”
23 I tọn aro mu ghe otọ agbọn, ọ keghi wa gha rre ehe nẹi mọ ọmọ, ehe ne ọ rhiara. I ghee odukhunmwu uwanmwẹ i rrọọ.
23 I saw the land, and look! it was empty and desolate. I looked at the heavens, and their light was no more.
24 I tọn aro mu ghee avbe oke nekhua, ehia ke gha guọ zẹzẹzẹ, avbe oke negiẹrẹ kegha de yo de rre.
24 I saw the mountains, and look! they were quaking, And the hills were shaking.
25 I keghi miẹn wẹẹ emwa i rrọọ hiehie, uhin ighẹ te avbe ahianmwẹ wa tinnọ kua.
25 I saw, and look! there was no man, And the birds of the heavens had all fled.
26 Otọ ne ọ te ma emwiokọ khian ato, ẹvbo nekhua ni rrọọ khian itowa, rhunmwuda ohu nọkhua ọghe Nọyaẹnmwa.
26 I saw, and look! the orchard had become a wilderness, And its cities had all been torn down. It was because of Jehovah, Because of his burning anger.
27 (E Nọyaẹnmwa tae nẹ wẹẹ, otọ agbọn hia gha khian ne ọ rhia ẹre, sokpan, ọ wẹẹ irẹn i ra fuẹn ọnrẹn ruan fẹẹrẹ.)
27 For this is what Jehovah says: “The whole land will become desolate, But I will not carry out a complete extermination.
Or “wise.”
(Jer. 7:31)
Iran ma ogiukpo ọkpa ne iran tie ẹre Tofẹt ye Iya Hinọm, ne iran miẹn ehe na gha ya ivbi iran nikpia ke nikhuo zọ ese vbe erhẹn. I ma gie iran ru emwi na, ọ ma vbe zẹdẹ gha rrọọ mwẹ ekhọe hiehiere.
They have built the high places of Toʹpheth, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinʹnom,* in order to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, something that I had not commanded and that had never even come into my heart.’*

Gha ọ gha sẹtin rẹn otọ vbene ekhọe ọmwa nagbọn ye hẹ? Emwi ọvbehe nọ rẹrẹ ọmwa vbe ne irẹn ye i rrọọ, ọ khuọnmwi gberra nọ gia sinmwi nẹ.
The heart is more treacherous* than anything else and is desperate.* Who can know it?
10 “Mẹ ne Nọyaẹnmwa ẹre ọ gualọ otọ ẹko ghe, I vbe gualọ otọ ekhọe ọmwa, vbene dọmwade ọghẹe ru emwi, ẹre I vbe ya ye obọ muẹn. Zẹvbe ne emwi nọ ru vbe ye.”
10 I, Jehovah, am searching the heart, Examining the innermost thoughts,* To give to each one according to his ways, According to the fruitage of his works.
Or “deceitful.”
Or possibly, “incurable.”
Or “deepest emotions.” Lit., “kidneys.”
(Jer. 23:26, 27)
Inu ẹghẹ ọre avbe akhasẹ nii gha ghi ya ohoghe ne iran zẹ ta bibi emwa mwẹ odẹ kpẹẹ sẹ?
How long will this continue in the heart of the prophets, to prophesy lies? They are prophets of the deceit of their own heart.
27 “Iran ro wẹẹ imina ne iran ta gha ya mwẹ mianmian zẹ vbene avbe erha iran mianmian mwẹ, iran na lele Bel
27 They intend to make my people forget my name by the dreams they relate to one another, just as their fathers forgot my name because of Baʹal.
(Jer. 31:3)
I keghi rhie egbe ma iran vbe urria. Ivbi Izrẹl, ẹghẹ hia ẹre I ya gha hoẹmwẹ uwa, rhunmwuda ọnii, I keghi ye gha mwẹ aho ne ẹi beghe ghe uwa.
From far away Jehovah appeared to me and said: “I have loved you with an everlasting love. That is why I have drawn you to me with loyal love.*
Or “have continued to show loyal love to you.”
(Jer. 31:12)
Iran gha rre do so ihuan oghọghọ vbe uhunmwu Oke Zaiọn, emwi ne I ya ne iran gha yẹẹ iran vbe ihaoko ọka, ayọn kevbe ofigbọn oliv, ihaoko ọghe ohuan kevbe ẹmila. Iran gha yevbe ogba ne a gbe amẹ khakha ẹsẹse emwi ne iran a rhirhi gha hoo hia gha sẹ iran obọ.
They will come and shout joyfully on the height of Zion And become radiant over the goodness of* Jehovah, Over the grain and the new wine and the oil, And over the young of the flock and the herd. They* will become like a well-watered garden, And they will never languish again.”
